What Is A Lash Bath?

Have you ever heard of a lash bath before? Let me explain! If you regularly clean your lash extensions they will adhere to your natural lashes for a longer period of time. A lash bath is a sure way to keep your lashes on as long as you can!

It’s critical that you cleanse your lash extensions and clean them correctly. This will ensure the longevity and health of your eyes and lashes. Poor lash hygiene can lead to potential infections, irritations, poor lash health/growth, and even lash mites. AH! We don’t want that.

Also, dead skin cells, dirt, makeup, and oil will easily build up in your lash line with time if you don’t regularly clean your lashes. This build-up will eat away at your lash extension’s bond, and began to break it down. Therefore, Dirty lashes cause your lash glue to become weak resulting in extensions falling off your natural lash instead of lasting the entire life of the natural lash cycle and falling out when the natural lash is shed.

Star babe lash baths are a great way to get a deep professional clean and to ensure that your lashes LAST!

Here’s what you need to do…

  1. You always want to avoid water for the first 24 hours after a new lash service however after that you are free to clean them.
  2. Cleanse lash extensions at least 2-3 times a week, or every night if you’re oily or a regular eye makeup wearer and avoid using oil around the eye area.
  3. Please avoid makeup wipes! The ingredients in makeup wipes can break down the lash bond but also if a makeup wipe gets caught on your lashes they will rip them out.

All of these tips will help you retain your gorgeous lashes between refills and keep your natural lashes healthy.
